- Primary Concern
We discuss the details surrounding your reason for consulting with us, including the nature of any pains or injury, in order to determine the cause of your condition and how we might be able to assist you.
- Medical History
Any accidents, illnesses, surgeries, hospitalisations and medications are discussed to determine if these may be contributing to your current presentation or concern.
- Assessment
Your therapist will ask you to perform relevant physical Range of Motion or Orthopaedic Tests to help confirm or exclude various causes of your complaint.
- Imaging Referrals
If you live within our referral network area, we may refer you for relevant medical imaging if necessary to assist making a more concise diagnosis of your complaint (costs of images are charged by the centre performing the examination).
- Working Diagnosis
Your therapist will explain to you the most likely causes of your complaint and the biomechanical factors associated these causes.
- Recommendations/ Advice
You will be provided with specific advice to help relieve any symptoms, reduce further aggravation and minimise the risk of chronicity of your condition.
- Corrective Rehabilitation Exercises
You may be provided with specific rehabilitation exercises to address any underlying movement dysfunctions or muscle weaknesses and facilitate a speedier recovery of your condition.
